Follow our general guidelines to make wine buying a cinch:
• Trying to match a wine when you don't know what's for dinner is no easy accomplish- ment. Instead of trying to match everything, focus on the main entree (if you know it) or just bring something you like yourself
• Pinot Noir tends to pair well with red meats and vegetable dishes while a light, crisp Pinot Grigio nicely complements most chicken and seafood dishes. More Pairings and Tasting Notes
• As a general rule, whites are preferable in the middle of summer, reds for winter and sparkling wines for any special occasion
• Wine given as a gift should never be chilled. In the event that the host does choose to serve a white or sparkling wine during the party, suggest placing the bottle in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes, or in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes.
