Quattro Vicariati (which approximately translates to
the "Four Parishes") is a limited production, high-quality Bordeaux
blend (65% Cabernet Sauvignon; 30% Merlot,; 5% Cabernet Franc) arising from a
tiny handful of vineyards in the Quattro Vicariati district of the Vallagarina
Valley in north Italy's Trentino region. Embracing the historic parishes of Ala,
Avio, Brentonico and Mori, this area constitutes the southernmost extent of Trentino,
and is considered by experts to enjoy optimum exposure and growing conditions
for production of fine red wines.
Full-bodied and elegantly structured, displaying a fresh, well defined bouquet with a slightly spicy perfume. An exceptional match for steak, game, roast duck and aged cheeses.
