The gently sloping hillside vineyards near the medieval village of Toblino in north Italy's Trentino region are a perfect environment for producing premium quality Pinot Noir. With this limited edition cru Pinot Noir, made from grapes harvested
from the finest vineyards in this area, Bottega Vinaia raises the bar where quality
standards for this varietal are concerned. The result is a soft, graceful red with lively fruit and an attractive note of almonds in its delicately perfumed bouquet. This wine is aged in oak casks for six months prior to bottling and release.

Grapes are sourced from a tiny cluster of vineyards located 400-550 meters above sea level. These vineyards share a microclimate and soil conditions singularly well suited to production of high quality Pinot Grigio and have been farmed by the same two families for over 100 years. In daylight hours this area enjoys the warming effects of nearby Lake Garda, helping to keep the fruit moisture-free and resistant to disease. Cool nights promote fragrant, intense aromas uncommon in Pinot Grigio.

No other red wine inspires greater affection among citizens of this north Italian province than Teroldego, which thrives in the vineyards of Trentino’s Campo Rotaliano plain and grows almost nowhere else. Substantial and well-balanced, with a mellow, intricate fragrance and persistent finish, it projects a subtle, engaging hint of acidity that makes it a versatile match for a wide range of dishes. Produced in limited quantities, it is aged a maximum of six months in oak casks and will continue to develop in the bottle for up to five years from release.

The Trentino region of north Italy is the source of several singular grape varieties that have now begun to attract the more widespread recognition their quality
so clearly deserves. Most noteworthy is Lagrein, a late ripening red variety that
produces a dark, complex, velvety smooth wine with a firm, assured finish and personality in abundance. The entrancing bouquet of Bottega Vinaia Lagrein mingles berries and floral notes with the faintest hint of vanilla.

Lagrein finds the perfect growing conditions on selected rocky-calcareous soil
